I am a newly retired school teacher, mother and grandmother who loves to craft and design. My tastes are rather eclectic and I am constantly trying out new mediums. Many of my designs are a mix of these mediums. I am a child of depression era parents, so there is always a thrifty component to me designs and I like to find things I can repurpose. I don't like to be wasteful, and some of my best designs or crafty creations have been a remake on a mistake, or designing from leftover scraps of wood, clay, fabric, something I found at the thrift store or just laying around the house. I am fortunate to live in the northwest and many of my themes relate to nature. I admit, I'm a tree-hugger and many of my creations reflect my love of the leaf shape and trees.
