When making jewelry I like to work with a mixture of mediums: hammered metals, wire wrap, polymer clay, wood, fabric, glass beads, stone and shell. Each piece is unique and a combination of these mediums allow for me to make the most of texture, color and movement, which for me is important to incorporate into each design. Wearable art! I'm told I should be more uniform in my product line, but I enjoy testing the boundaries of designs and following what interests me in the moment. Sometime I revisit a technique or design, but as you can see by the eclectic mix, I mostly move onto to the next challenge. I'm happy to try and work with someone to create a custom piece, or on occasion, string together beads in conventional fashion. I very much enjoy the challenge of designing a necklace to compliment a specific outfit (see the picture with my daughter modeling a red/black dress for a local boutique). Earrings are a favorite as well--the jeweler's "bread and butter." If you have any questions or wish to request a custom design feel free to leave a comment and I'll get back with you as soon a possible.
